This photo has next to nothing to do with this post (which in fact doesn't really have a point at all, let's be honest), but I wanted to share - my third weaving! Finished! I'm so happy that I took the leap and bought my loom back in September. Weaving has been the perfect hobby to turn to at the end of a long day of researching/writing/reading for school over the past few months.
And speaking of school, I'm all finished for the semester! I'm waiting on feedback for two courses, but everything is submitted and the hardest part is officially over. My first semester of grad school, finished! Yes! I am very much looking forward to the time off between semesters, but I've definitely already started planning out my courses for the spring session. Over the break I'll be able to spend more time on personal writing, especially in this space. I'd also like to go on a few winter hikes, see my friends, fit in some photo sessions, write some letters, and focus on rest and relaxation for my body, mind, and soul.
The last thing I have to say - I re designed the blog this morning! A fresh, minimal, and feminine look for a bright new year. If you keep up with this blog via a reader, click over! There's a whole page devoted to my portfolio now, an updated about page, that sort of thing. Just enough to make it feel like a whole new, inspiring space.
